Elementary School - Grade 5
Lesson 8: "Because of..." (Noun)
Noun + 때문에
Expressing Reason (Nouns)
You can now set the *time* of an action. Let's learn how to state the *reason* for an action.
The pattern **Noun + 때문에** is a very clear and direct way to say "because of [Noun]" or "due to [Noun]." It's used to state the noun that is the direct cause of the result.
The Rule: Just Add 때문에
This grammar is wonderfully simple. You just attach `때문에` directly to the noun. No need to worry about vowels or consonants!
Noun
눈 (snow)
때문에
눈 때문에
"Because of the snow"
Examples in Action
눈 때문에 길이 막혔어요.
Because of the snow, the road was blocked.

너 때문에 행복해요.
